HKHS Marks Milestone at Houston Wellness Association 2010 Summit
The Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools initiative was showcased at a number of events recently, coming almost one year after the launch of the initiative - from participation in the Texas Children's Hospital Kids' Fun Run to key presentations at the HWA 2010 Community Health & Wellness Summit. Hall Meeting engaged the HISD community
with the City of Houston, public health and
area businesses and restaurants to envision
a healthier Houston, building on community
strengths. Attendees enjoyed a healthy pre-meeting
dinner hosted by HISD’s new central-production
